Jane Marsh BSc, MSc
Jane started her health care profession in the NHS working as a nurse and a midwife for over 20years. A combination of working in a midwife led birth centre and also doing humanitarian work in rural Africa led to Jane developing a greater interest in natural health care.
Jane studied for 3years full time at The Northern College of Acupuncture, graduating in 2007. She then went on to complete her MSc with a research project looking at the use of acupuncture during pregnancy.
Naturally, Jane enjoys treating women, especially for issues around fertility, pregnancy and the menapause and those areas have been the focus of many courses, seminars and study days in recent years. More generally, Jane has developed her practice and has moved into a different style of acupuncture known as 'The Balance Method'. She was lucky enough to study with the pioneer of this highly effective method, the late, great Dr Tan. Jane is continuing to refine her skills and sees mastery of Chinese Medicine as a life long learning process.

In her spare time Jane enjoys walking, sailing, the theatre, vegan cookery and travel.
